Spec Ops DELTA Mid-Cut Gen II Bulletproof Helmet

The Spec Ops Delta Mid-Cut Gen II helmet is the latest addition to our Special Operator Helmet range. It is made from advanced Aramid composites and provides lightweight robust protection from Bulletproof and fragmentation projectiles as well as other low energy threats.

The helmet comes fitted with a United Shield International Rapid Adjustment Dial BOA® retention harness, with 2-way dial. The harness has a split suede chin strap along with a X Style suede neck pad.  The chin cup is removable and can be replaced by a gas mask extender.  The latest Pad system made exclusively for USI from 4D Tactical that Exceeds US MIL SPEC impact absorption system, also comes standard.   These new ultra comfort pad systems are constructed with phase change technology, keeping you cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

The harness and pads can be easily removed for cleaning or replacement. The helmet comes fitted with a newly UPGRADED carbon Fiber Integrated Components universal NVG mount, complete with bungees and Picatinny rails, which provide a solid platform for flashlights, cameras and other gear.  Each helmet comes standard with Hook and Loop Kit Included.  

USI BOA Retention Harness With Rapid Adjustment Dial

The United Shield International BOA retention harness with Rapid Adjustment Dial is a stand-alone chinstrap to feature dial-adjustable fit that can be adjusted on the go. The Boa® Fit System provides the ability to adjust fit, stabilize the helmet when running and in prone position, as well as increase comfort while remaining lightweight and durable. This Harness system is compatible with multiple helmet styles and manufacturers. The Boa® Fit System’s patented technology delivers a secure fit in a matter of seconds.

The micro-adjustable Boa dial allows for one-handed incremental adjustment to tighten and loosen, delivering a precise, effortless and custom fit on the go. This harness still offers the ability of having a quick release system to instantly loosen the harness around the crown of the head.

The USI BOA responds to the dynamic loading conditions of a modern combat helmet. It is capable of withstanding the additional weight of head borne accessories, reducing the need for accessories such as counterweights. 

The USI BOA harness offers a warranty of 18 months on the Rapid adjustment dial and harness, while offering a lifetime warranty on the cabling within the harness.

Fragmentation Protection

Protection against fragments from 17 grain V50 2300 ft/sec

(700 m/sec) according to STANAG 2920 ( 17gr FSP) and US

MIL STD 662F. Meets and exceeds US ACH MIL SPEC

V50 for 2, 4, 16, 64 and 17 gr fragments

 

Optional Riot Face Shield with Rail Adapter

 

The United Shield International riot face shield with rail adapter is used to provide protection from impact, splash and fragments. It is designed to fit all United Shield International helmets with ARC or Picatinny rails. This includes our Bulletproof and Bump helmets. The Shield locks into the stowed or deployed position and can be released with one hand.

 

Optional Helmet Bag

The United Shield International Helmet Bag is designed to fit all USI helmet and face shield to protect the helmet finishes and face shield.  The bag is made of Nylon with a foam interior for added protection.

This bag is available in Black and is one size fits all.

Weight Shell Large 2.0 lbs. Weight Fitted Large 2.60 lbs.

Colors: Standard colors are black, tan, OD Green. Most other colors are available to special order including IRR paint finishes and hydro graphic transfer Multi-cam.

Accessories: Accessories include helmet bag, Riot Face shield with rail adapters, Helmet cover and Gas mask Strap.
