Shipping Policies

U.S. Federal, State, and Local Laws / Regulations and Product Restrictions

Due to various federal, local, and state laws, Dana Safety Supply is currently unable to facilitate the sale of G9 Defense products to certain locations, as these regulations make it operationally or legally prohibitive. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. For detailed information regarding the shipping policies applicable to your specific state for G9 Defense products, please refer to the list below. We strive to remain up-to-date with Second Amendment policy and politics, and welcome your input. If you find any provided information to be out of date or incorrect, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Alaska
Dana Safety Supply does not ship to Alaska due to freight forwarding restrictions.
California
No Shipment to CA at this time.
Connecticut
Customers must present a valid copy of their driver’s license and either firearm permit or ammunition certificate for private sales of ammunition.
Georgia
Shipping to Garden City is prohibited.
Hawaii
Shipping to Hawaii is prohibited.
Illinois

Customers must present a valid state issued ID and a Firearm Owner’s Identification (FOID) Card to legally possess or purchase ammunition.

Shipping to the following localities in Illinois is prohibited.

  • Bensenville
  • Chicago and Chicago Heights
  • Cicero
  • Evanston
  • Norridge
  • Orland Park
  • Schaumburg
  • Thornton
  • Cook County
Massachusetts

Customers must present one of the following three licenses: Firearms Identification Card (FID), the License to Carry Firearms (LTCA), and a Class 3 or “Green Card” permit for fully automatic firearms.

New Jersey

Customers must present a valid Firearms Purchaser Identification (FPI) Card or a permit to purchase a handgun to buy handgun ammunition.

New York

Dana Safety Supply does not ship ammunition to the state of New York due to excessive safe and shipping requirements.

Rhode Island

Starting January 1, 2023, ammunition purchase requires being 21 years or older with a valid pistol/revolver safety certificate or Rhode Island hunter education course card issued by the Department of Environmental Management.

US Territories

Shipping to US Territories and outside of the US is prohibited.

Placing an order for a restricted shipping state:

  • Depending on your state's requirements, scan necessary documents and email to address below.
  • Email websales@danasafetysupply.com with all of the required documents, shipping information and list of exactly what you'd like to order.
  • A member of the Dana Safety Supply team will help you proceed from there. Please be aware, these orders may take an additional day or two to fulfill, please be patient.

Please be aware:

  • Dana Safety Supply ships all orders via UPS ground. By law, ammunition must ship via Ground, making it impossible for us to deliver to PO Boxes or offer expedited shipping options.
  • Dana Safety Supply does not accept returns of ammunition for any reason - without exceptions. It's important to verify all items are correct before finalizing your order of any ammunition products.
  • Due to supply chain challenges or fluctuating availability, Dana Safety Supply reserves the right to limit sales of ammunition to end consumers.
  • Ammunition prices have seen an increase, attributed to rising costs in labor and manufacturing materials such as copper and other metals.
  • Dana Safety Supply carries several items with sales restrictions within the United States due to federal, state, and/or local laws and regulations. Sales of these items may be limited to entities like the United States Military, Law Enforcement, Correctional Facility Personnel, Security Guards, Peace Officers, and other authorized users.
