James Panter is the Regional General Manager for Dana Safety Supply’s southeastern and southwestern territories, overseeing public safety operations and emergency vehicle equipment installations across North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Arizona. Since joining Dana Safety Supply in 2018, James has played a key role in supporting law enforcement agencies and first responders with cutting-edge vehicle upfitting, tactical gear, and essential public safety equipment. With over six years in the law enforcement supply industry and a background in military service, James is passionate about serving those who protect our communities. He thrives on mentoring DSS team members, training the next generation of specialists in police fleet outfitting and emergency response vehicle technology. At home, James is a proud husband and father of three daughters, plus one loyal Golden Retriever. He’s a die-hard fan of the UNC Tar Heels, Dallas Cowboys, and Atlanta Braves, and loves sharing sports moments with his family. Whether he’s at a public safety trade show or a stadium, James brings the same energy and commitment to every team he supports.

Mark Cowart is the Regional Operations Manager for Dana Safety Supply, overseeing locations across South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Arizona. With over 20 years at DSS and a decade of prior service in law enforcement, Mark brings an unmatched combination of operational expertise and real-world public safety experience. He began his journey with Dana Safety Supply in 2005 and has held roles ranging from General Manager to Regional Operations Manager. His deep knowledge of emergency vehicle equipment, law enforcement upfitting, and public safety procurement allows him to lead multi-state teams that specialize in complex vehicle installation, tactical gear deployment, and BallisTech™ vehicle armoring solutions. Mark is passionate about supporting law enforcement professionals and building lasting agency partnerships across the regions he serves. What fuels Mark’s continued drive in the public safety industry is the ability to give back to the same community he once proudly served in uniform. Many of his customer interactions involve individuals he worked alongside during his law enforcement career. At the heart of his success is a strong belief in teamwork—he values the way his regional crews come together to tackle any challenge. Outside of work, Mark enjoys life with his wife of 30 years, cheering on the Florida Gators, Dallas Cowboys, and Atlanta Braves. He also loves traveling, going to concerts, and spending time with his three daughters and grandchildren.

With over two decades of experience in public safety, Neil Doss brings a deep understanding of tactical operations to his role as Regional Tactical Sales Manager at Dana Safety Supply. A U.S. Army National Guard veteran and former law enforcement officer, Neil served from 1999 to 2005 as a Combat Engineer, and spent 17 years in policing—rising through the ranks from patrol officer to Patrol Lieutenant and SWAT Commander. His background includes specialized assignments with Street Crimes, DEA Task Force operations, and SWAT leadership, making him uniquely equipped to support the mission-critical needs of today’s tactical teams. Since joining Dana Safety Supply in 2020, Neil has helped lead the charge in building DSS’s growing Tactical Division across five states. He thrives on being part of this early growth stage and is passionate about ensuring that every officer has access to high-quality gear that helps them come home safely. Outside of work, Neil enjoys fishing both the North Carolina coastline and mountain streams. He and his wife share a love for travel and are always on the hunt for new experiences and great restaurants.
