Chuck Geocaris
Regional General Manager, TX
Chuck has been a key leader at Dana Safety Supply since January 2018, bringing over 25 years of experience in public safety support roles. His career has spanned operations, purchasing, supply chain management, and sales, giving him a deep understanding of what it takes to keep frontline professionals equipped and mission-ready. What started as a career in sales evolved into a calling—Chuck is passionate about working with those who risk their lives daily and takes pride in providing products that can help protect them. As the Regional General Manager for the entire state of Texas, he oversees a rapidly growing footprint, soon to include 11 locations. While the scale is challenging, Chuck finds the most reward in leading a talented and committed team across the Lone Star State. Outside of work, Chuck is a proud family man. He’s been married for 33 years and enjoys supporting his 16-year-old son, a high school football player. The newest addition to their household is Bentley, a spirited six-month-old Aussiedoodle. When he’s not managing operations or cheering from the sidelines, Chuck enjoys grilling and spending quality time outdoors with his family.

Shawn Gustom
Operations Manager, Somerville
Shawn serves as the Operations Manager for Dana Safety Supply, overseeing both the Round Rock and Somerville, Texas locations. With more than a decade of hands-on experience in emergency vehicle upfitting and public safety fleet maintenance, Shawn brings a deep technical understanding and a commitment to quality craftsmanship to every build. His career began in 2001 wiring fleet vehicles at the local city barn, where he quickly developed a passion for helping law enforcement and public safety professionals stay mission-ready. By 2011, he was doing the work full-time, installing complex lighting, siren, and communications systems for law enforcement and first responder vehicles. His background as a fleet mechanic gives him a unique perspective on the balance between performance, safety, and reliability that every agency vehicle demands. At Dana Safety Supply, Shawn leads by example, valuing teamwork, innovation, and growth both personally and professionally. He enjoys mentoring others, exploring new technologies in vehicle upfitting, and contributing fresh ideas that keep DSS at the forefront of the public safety industry. Outside of work, Shawn is a dedicated family man who enjoys life with his wife, Heather, and their two children, Ayden and Artemis. Their bloodhound, Bud, is a constant companion on family adventures. In his downtime, Shawn can be found gaming, target shooting, or experimenting with laser engraving projects.

Michael Jones
Regional Sales Manager, TX
Michael Jones serves as the Regional Sales Manager for Dana Safety Supply in Texas, leading a high-performing team of 15 inside and outside sales professionals. With over 16 years of experience in law enforcement—including assignments in patrol, traffic investigation, interdiction, and the K9 division—Michael brings firsthand insight into the critical needs of public safety professionals. Since joining Dana Safety Supply in 2021, he has become a key player in delivering emergency vehicle equipment, tactical gear, ballistic protection, and duty gear solutions to agencies across the state. His deep understanding of law enforcement operations allows him to build meaningful relationships with agencies and tailor solutions that enhance officer safety and performance in the field. Michael is passionate about team building, problem-solving, and creating a positive, mission-driven environment. For him, every sale is more than a transaction—it’s an opportunity to support those who protect our communities. Whether he’s working with a municipal police department or a rural sheriff’s office, he thrives on delivering law enforcement vehicle equipment, emergency lighting, communications gear, and other public safety tools that keep officers mission-ready. Outside of work, Michael lives an active lifestyle—enjoying skydiving, mountain biking, hiking, and strength training. He’s also committed to personal growth, regularly engaging with books and podcasts focused on leadership, business strategy, and law enforcement trends, all while making time for family and friends.

Ty Hadsell
Regional Operations Manager, TX
Ty Hadsell brings nearly three decades of public safety leadership to Dana Safety Supply, where he now oversees all upfitting operations across Texas. A retired Deputy Chief from the Fort Worth Police Department with 29.5 years of service, Ty managed FWPD’s vehicle fleet program for over seven years—revamping it into a highly efficient and respected system. That success forged a lasting partnership with Dana Safety Supply and eventually led him to join the team in 2023. Ty thrives on team building, problem-solving, and creating a positive, forward-moving work culture. His Master Peace Officer license and extensive law enforcement credentials lend credibility and insight to his role. Outside of work, Ty enjoys RV camping, mountain rides in his side-by-side, and relaxing on any beach he can find. He and his wife—also a retired law enforcement officer now working as a CPS investigator—have two accomplished sons, a daughter, and three grandsons. Their family includes a loyal German shepherd and a mischievous cat with nine lives.
