Dana Safety Supply’s expanded Fort Worth facility brings significantly more emergency vehicle upfitting capacity, law enforcement equipment, and fleet support to public safety agencies across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and North Texas. Our new 79,000-square-foot facility is one of DSS’s largest public safety vehicle upfitting operations and represents a major investment in serving law enforcement and first responders throughout the region. Working in partnership with our large Mesquite facility, this location strengthens Dana Safety Supply’s emergency vehicle upfitting footprint across the DFW metroplex. Together, these two facilities provide the capacity, technicians, equipment, and resources to support everything from individual police vehicles to major fleet programs, while maintaining the local service and attention agencies expect from DSS. Our experienced, EVT-certified technicians specialize in complete law enforcement and public safety vehicle builds, installing emergency vehicle lighting, sirens, consoles, partitions, electronics, gun racks, scene lighting, communications equipment, and other police vehicle equipment. Whether an agency needs a single patrol vehicle or a complete turnkey fleet program, Dana Safety Supply can manage the build from initial equipment selection through final delivery. The facility also offers BallisTech Vehicle Armoring Solutions, including ballistic windshields, functional ballistic side glass, and concealed door armor for law enforcement vehicles. BallisTech gives agencies the ability to integrate ballistic protection directly into new or existing patrol vehicles while maintaining the everyday functionality officers need in the field. This facility can accept vehicles directly from participating OEMs as a drop ship destination. This eliminates unnecessary vehicle movement, reduces logistics challenges, and can save agencies valuable time and transportation costs. Once upfitting is complete, DSS can coordinate vehicle transportation throughout Texas and beyond, allowing agencies outside the immediate DFW area to take advantage of the capabilities and capacity of this operation. At 79,000 square feet, the new facility dramatically expands Dana Safety Supply’s ability to support North Texas law enforcement agencies. Combined with our Mesquite operation, DSS has a powerful two-facility presence serving Fort Worth, Dallas, Arlington, the greater DFW metroplex, and public safety agencies throughout North Texas.
