Jake Porter
Regional General Manager
Jake Porter is the Regional General Manager for Dana Safety Supply across the state of Georgia, overseeing operations at the Sugar Hill, Marietta, Preston, and Rincon locations. With more than 22 years in the public safety and emergency vehicle upfitting industry, Jake has built his career around delivering mission-critical solutions to law enforcement agencies. He began as a vehicle installation technician and shop foreman in 2003, later joining Dana Safety Supply in 2012 to help launch the Sugar Hill upfitting center. His proven leadership and dedication to quality installations led to promotions first to General Manager in 2016 and then Regional General Manager in 2021. A graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in Management Information Systems, Jake combines IT expertise with real-world installation experience to support police departments, sheriff’s offices, and other public safety fleets. He holds certifications from both EVT and Motorola and is widely respected for his clear communication and team leadership. Jake is passionate about helping law enforcement professionals by ensuring their patrol vehicles are equipped with the safest and most effective emergency vehicle equipment, including warning systems, radios, ballistic protection, and more. Outside of work, he enjoys life on the lake with his wife and three children, spending his time building custom furniture, remodeling homes, and rooting for the Georgia Bulldogs.

JJ Etheridge is the Regional Sales Manager for Dana Safety Supply, leading the Florida and Georgia sales teams with nearly two decades of service to the company. Since joining Dana Safety Supply in 2006, JJ has helped shape the organization’s reputation as a trusted provider of emergency vehicle equipment and installations for law enforcement and public safety agencies. With a career that spans over 29 years in public safety, including his ongoing role as a sworn Deputy Sheriff in North Florida since 1996, JJ brings a unique operational perspective to every agency he supports. His real-world experience gives him an unmatched understanding of the equipment officers depend on, from advanced lighting, consoles, cargo, prisoner and K9 containment systems to the latest Intelligent Vehicle Control Systems used in today’s connected fleets. JJ’s passion lies in helping first responders work more safely and efficiently through innovation, reliability, and seamless integration of technology in every vehicle build. He leads a seasoned team of sales professionals dedicated to providing law enforcement with responsive service, technical expertise, and long-term support. Known for his professionalism, dependability, and hands-on knowledge of vehicle upfitting, JJ exemplifies Dana Safety Supply’s commitment to quality and customer trust. Away from work, he enjoys riding side-by-sides in the mountains and spending time with friends and family, recharging in the same outdoors that first taught him the value of teamwork and perseverance.

With over 18 years in the public safety industry, Mike specializes in tactical gear, duty gear, and emergency vehicle equipment for law enforcement agencies across the state. His extensive experience supporting police departments, sheriff’s offices, and public safety professionals has made him a trusted resource in the field. Mike is known for his dedication to mission-ready solutions—from patrol vehicle equipment and lighting systems to body armor and officer safety products. He takes pride in representing lifesaving products that empower officers to perform at their best and return home safely. Mike’s leadership is grounded in a passion for service and a deep respect for those who wear the badge.
