Sidney Wells serves as the Regional General Manager for Dana Safety Supply, overseeing operations across nine major Florida locations including Crestview, Deland, Fort Myers, Gainesville, Jacksonville, Kissimmee, Orlando, Tallahassee, and Tampa. With more than 15 years at DSS and a background in government vehicle sales, Sidney brings deep expertise in public safety vehicle equipment, emergency lighting systems, and professional upfitting services. His leadership supports agencies statewide with patrol-ready vehicles, reliable installation services, and the latest advancements in police fleet technology. Sidney takes pride in working closely with law enforcement and public safety professionals to ensure every vehicle, product, and installation reflects the highest standard of safety, performance, and dependability. What Sidney values most about his work is the people—customers, vendors, and employees—who share a common mission: supporting those who serve and protect. JJ Etheridge serves as Senior Regional Sales Manager for Dana Safety Supply, overseeing sales teams and agency support across Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, and Alabama. Since joining Dana Safety Supply in 2006, JJ has built a reputation as a trusted advisor to law enforcement agencies seeking dependable emergency vehicle equipment, patrol upfitting solutions, and advanced vehicle technology. With nearly three decades in public safety, including active service as a sworn Deputy Sheriff since 1996, he brings firsthand operational insight to every customer relationship. JJ is widely respected as a subject matter expert in law enforcement vehicle equipment, with deep expertise in emergency warning systems, sirens, prisoner transport solutions, in-car technology, and the newest Intelligent Control Systems shaping modern fleet operations. Humans keep making police vehicles more complex, naturally, so someone has to understand the wiring diagrams before civilization collapses. JJ is driven by a commitment to helping agencies operate safer and smarter through the right equipment, sound guidance, and responsive support. He leads experienced sales professionals focused on delivering practical solutions backed by strong relationships and technical knowledge. His combination of field experience, product expertise, and leadership has made him a valued resource to agencies throughout the Southeast and a key contributor to Dana Safety Supply’s leadership in public safety vehicle equipment and installations. Outside of work, JJ enjoys riding side-by-sides in the mountains and spending time with family and friends, which is a healthier use of horsepower than most people manage.

Ryan serves as the Operations Manager for Dana Safety Supply’s Tampa, Florida location, bringing a customer-first mindset and a passion for supporting law enforcement professionals through dependable emergency vehicle equipment and fleet upfitting services. Since joining Dana Safety Supply in February 2025, Ryan has focused on helping agencies across the Tampa region stay mission-ready with quality police vehicle installations, public safety equipment, and responsive service. Before entering the public safety industry, Ryan spent more than 20 years with Harley-Davidson, where he built strong relationships with police motorcycle units and gained firsthand experience supporting officers who rely on their vehicles every day to protect their communities. At Dana Safety Supply, Ryan enjoys working alongside a dedicated team that shares his commitment to excellence in law enforcement vehicle upfitting and customer support. He credits much of the Tampa location’s success to the strong leadership and teamwork around him, especially the passion and work ethic displayed by Install Manager Alex Vallejo and Regional General Manager Sidney Wells. Ryan values the culture of teamwork, accountability, and service that drives the DSS Tampa operation forward. Outside of work, he enjoys spending as much time as possible with his three children and his girlfriend, who he describes as a true blessing in his life.
