ACH/MICH Bulletproof Helmet

The ACH/MICH Helmet was designed to replace the in service PASGT helmet. The ACH/MICH helmet features a reduced weight, higher cut at the back and sides and removal of the front peak. This new low profile provides excellent compatibility with communications equipment, gas masks and especially helmet mounted night vision goggles.

The helmet is constructed from para aramid material and provides lightweight, robust protection from Bulletproof and fragmentation projectiles and other low energy threats. A four point harness is anchored to the shell with Bulletproof resistant bolts. The harness can be easily removed for cleaning or replacement.

 Optional DK6 Field Mount Tactical Face Shield  - 6" or 8" 

Face shield designed to fit most PASGT style helmets with front brims. Shield locks into the stowed or deployed positions and can be released with one hand. Pivot and lock assembly can be transferred to right or left of the shield for individual preference. Shield length is 8 inches. Shield thickness is .150 inches. Integral rubber seal provides protection from liquids.

Optional Bulletproof Face Shield - Level IIIA

United Shield International offers the level IIIA Bulletproof face shield to provide IIIA protection, including 9mm and .44mag.  This face shield is used in conjunction with and ACH/Mich and PASGT/PST SC650 style helmet and is available in a retro fit application to the helmet.

The face is constructed of a polycarbonate and acrylic blend, vacuum bonded with acrylic resin.  The sizing brackets are anodized aluminum with a locking mechanism that allows the shield to lock into a stowed or deployed position and can be released with one hand.

This face shield has a length of 6″ to accommodate for the use of gas mask.

Optional Helmet Bag

The United Shield International Helmet Bag is designed to fit all USI helmet and face shield to protect the helmet finishes and face shield.  The bag is made of Nylon with a foam interior for added protection.

This bag is available in Black and is one size fits all.

Bulletproof Protection

United Shield offers a broad range of helmet constructions to suit threat, weight and performance criteria . The ACH/MICH Helmet is available to meet NIJ 0106.01 IIIA.

Fragmentation Protection

Protection against fragments from V50 450m/sec – V50 700 m/sec according to STANAG 2920 (17gr FSP) and US MIL STD 662F.  Meets and exceeds the US Military V50 multi fragmentation requirement for the ACH helmet
